As a Bass player with 49 years experience, I have gained the knowledge, sometimes out of necessity, of how to make the instrument play as it should.

This does not just apply to older instruments. Sadly, these days, big box, corporate music stores have a habit of hanging new guitars up in their showrooms with no setup whatsoever. Often horribly out of whack, these guitars can give a novice player the impression that things are a lot harder than they should be.

I can remedy this!

I offer excellent bass setup work with attention to detail and sensible pricing.

My bass setup workshop is located in Ardlethan, NSW and covers Temora, Griffith, and other Riverina areas.

My bass setups include:

I will go over the bass in detail with you, and point out any glaring problems on drop off of the instrument as well as notify you during the setup if any potential issues are found. This is a free no obligation assessment.

I don't offer electronic repairs.

Note: A high percentage of basses that come to me have an action that you could probably limbo dance under. This can mask fret and neck problems that become apparent when things are put into spec. Rectifying these problems falls outside of the realms of a normal setup and will cost extra.
